The toolbar is located on the right above the editor (see illustration). It allows to add images, text and comments and more, which is explained here:

Click on the first icon
to import a picture from a file. It will appear in the editor so you can freely drag it around to place it on the product. Hold down the left mouse button on one an arrow in the corner of the image to resize the image, hold the shift-key to keep its aspect ratio.
Rotation:
To rotate a picture around it's axis, click and hold down the mouse on the arrow in the middle of the picture (see illustration 2). The rotation can be reset in the object menu, by choosing the 're-align' option. In the same menu also provides options to rotate by a fixed amount, (e.g. 90 degree clockwise, etc.)

If you are a registered user of the designer web-module you can publish the design by clicking on the button
'publish the design to the web'.
The trashcan icon 
allows to remove the selected item. If multiple objects are selected (e.g. by holding down the shift key and clicking on an object), the complete set of selected objects is removed from the canvas.
icon individual text is added to the canvas. As with pictures you can use the arrows to freely resize and rotate the lettering object. (see rotation above for details).
If a text element is selected, the properties are shown below the canvas (illustration 3).

The textfield is prepared to edit multiline text, above the text orientation can be set to left-justify, centered or right-justify.
The dropdown box allows to choose a font, and its style by using the toggle buttons B for bold and i for italic style. The color can be selected from the tabs, either use an RGB color or select o special color material from the palette. Line pitch and character spacing can be freely adjusted as well. All changes are immediately applied to the selected object and are visible on the canvas.
You can add a comment to the design with the 
icon this is useful to describe a particular feature or simply as a remark.

to restore the initial view
By holding down the shift key, multiple items can be selected with the mouse. To align the objects relative to each other you can choose out of 6 different options to justify the elements to the left

or for example at the bottom line
